Lines

One of the most horrific and enduring 9/11 images was the people trapped in the upper levels of the twin towers. Many jumped. Some held hands while they did so. At least two hundred people are believed to have taken the fateful plunge.
I chose this photo because the lines provide an appealing sense of parallel lines that make your eyes follow the depth in the picture. The lines add appeal to the picture and make this a good example of a line picture.

Peer Reflection

Mathew's Blog 1.I like the lighting on the happy photo with the cloud 2. I also like that he looked to the sky for ideas 3. I dont like that he used a very similar photo for the metal subject as he did the happy subject. Nicks Photojournalism 1. I LOVE the photo of the plants next to the bikes, great image of lines 2.I also like the balance in the square in the ceiling photo 3. I dont like the bowie photo because i cant tell what the subject is...is it the dog or the people?

favorite Jessica Fecteau  created this  Vogue  cover with bold lines and angles that traverse the model’s face and hand. Although she executed it digitally, the red and turquoise strips look like face paint with colors that match the masthead. I like this cover for the magazine because of the paint and the eye contact. If i were able to alter this image in any way,  i would make it to where the magazine title more visible and more obvious. I like the paint, but i think more lighting on the left side of the picture. Overall, really good.
